Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about CruisingComps.com.
What is CruisingComps.com?
CruisingComps.com is a crowd-sourced database where cruise casino players can share and compare the casino offers they receive from cruise lines. Our goal is to help players understand how their play level relates to the offers they can expect, using real data submitted by the community.
Is CruisingComps.com affiliated with any cruise line?
No. CruisingComps.com is a fully independent platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Carnival, Princess, Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, or any other cruise line. All cruise line names and ship names are trademarks of their respective owners.
How is the data collected?
All data on this site is submitted voluntarily by users like you. We do not scrape or purchase data from any cruise line. Because data is self-reported, individual entries may vary, but aggregated results across many submissions provide a meaningful picture of typical offer ranges.
Why should I submit my data?
The more submissions we receive, the more accurate and useful the aggregated data becomes for everyone. By sharing your experience, you help other players understand whether their offers are typical, above average, or below average for their level of play.
Is my personal information kept private?
Yes. We never display any personally identifiable information publicly. Your name, email address, or phone number are never shown to other users. Only anonymized, aggregated play and offer data is used in the public-facing charts and comparisons. Please review our Privacy Policy for full details.
What cruise lines are covered?
Currently we collect data for Carnival Cruise Line and Princess Cruises, with plans to expand to additional lines as our community grows.
How are the "typical offer" ranges calculated?
Typical ranges are calculated from all submissions that match a given cruise line and play pattern profile. We look at the middle range of reported offers — filtering out extreme outliers — to give you a realistic sense of what most players with similar play patterns tend to receive.
Can I update my submission later?
Yes. When you complete the survey, you can save your data by providing your email address or by keeping track of the unique code assigned to your submission. Either way, you can return at any time to update your information as your offers or play patterns change.
What if I made a mistake in my submission?
You can return to the survey at any time and update your data using your email address or your unique code. Your previous entry will be updated with the new information.
Why do some people get much better offers than others?
Cruise casino offers are generally based on your theoretical loss, which is a function of how much you bet, how long you play, and at what games. Players who bet higher amounts, play longer sessions, or play higher house-edge games tend to receive more generous offers. Other factors — such as your history with a specific cruise line — may also play a role.
